In this notice, “bev.”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Utopia Foodworks Pvt. Ltd.

We collect only the information needed for the feature you choose to use:

• Waitlist: your name, email address and, if you choose to answer, how you heard about us.
• Optional survey: your email address, hydration-satisfaction rating and usual drink choice.
• Website use: when analytics is enabled, information such as pages viewed, session activity, approximate location, traffic source, browser, device and operating system.
• Technical information: our hosting and security providers may process request data such as IP address, timestamps and browser information to deliver and protect the website.

Please do not send us sensitive personal information through the waitlist or survey.

We use personal data to:

• manage the waitlist and send the launch announcement or product updates you requested;
• understand interest in bev. and improve the product and website;
• analyse aggregated website traffic and performance;
• prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems and keep the website secure; and
• meet legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

We do not use waitlist or survey answers to make automated decisions about you.

Joining the waitlist and completing the survey are optional. You can leave the waitlist, withdraw your consent, or ask us to stop using your information by emailing us. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before your request.

If you select “Keep it to this launch” on the waitlist form, we will use your email for the bev. launch announcement but not for later launches or ongoing product news.

You may also ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, request a correction or deletion, or raise a grievance. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

We use service providers to host the website and database, deliver communications, secure our systems and measure website use. They may process data only to provide those services to us. Google may receive website-use data when Google Analytics is enabled.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect people or our services, or as part of a merger, financing, reorganisation or sale of the business. We do not sell or rent your personal data.

Google Analytics may use first-party cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions. Analytics is used to understand how people find and use the website, not to receive names or email addresses from our forms.

You can restrict or delete cookies in your browser. You can also use Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

We keep waitlist information while we prepare and communicate the launch, and for only as long afterwards as it is reasonably needed for the updates you requested. Survey answers are kept while they remain useful for product research. Analytics and technical records follow the retention settings of the relevant service.

We delete or anonymise personal data when it is no longer needed, when you make a valid deletion request, or when the law requires it. We may retain limited records where necessary to meet a legal obligation, resolve a dispute or prevent misuse.

Some service providers may process data outside India. Where this happens, we require appropriate safeguards and handle transfers subject to applicable law.

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal data. No online service is completely secure, so please contact us promptly if you believe your information has been compromised.

The website and waitlist are not directed to children under 18. If you are under 18, please do not submit personal data without the involvement of a parent or lawful guardian. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

We may update this notice as the product and our data practices change. We will publish the revised version here and update the date at the top. We will provide an additional notice if a change materially affects how we use personal data.
